Swiss private account opening
Swiss private wealth management

The concept of the External Asset Manager (EAM) is long-established in Switzerland. There are several thousand such firms in the country.

The basic principle is that a client holds his assets with a custodian bank of his choice but the financial advice comes from an external adviser working in partnership with that bank.

There is no disadvantage to the client in using an EAM rather than dealing with his bank directly. On the contrary, he benefits from being looked after by an independent adviser who can offer a more individual service.

As befits a partnership, Swiss banks will only deal with EAMs whom they trust, whose credentials they have checked and who they are confident will not affect their reputation. So you can be sure that when we introduce you to a bank, that bank is happy to work together with us.

Equally, the service we and our clients receive from our partner banks is very important. We share the banks’ resources such as research and product information and we receive real-time electronic access to client account details. We constantly monitor this service to ensure that the selected banks are still suitable for our, and our clients’, needs.
