Ernesto Zulliger
Ernesto Zulliger was born in Mexico in 1961 of Swiss parents. He spent his first 16 years living in Mexico, Ecuador and Chile before returning to Switzerland to study Economics. At the age of 23 he started his banking career with Credit Suisse in Zurich. In 1987, he was transferred by the bank to Caracas/Venezuela, where he was Representative for four years. After that, he joined Merrill Lynch Bank (Suisse) in Uruguay for three years, where he was a Senior Advisor of the bank for all South America. In 1995, he returned to Zurich and worked for almost ten years for the biggest banking institution in Switzerland, the UBS group, as Senior Client Advisor for Latin American clients. From 2004 to 2008, he worked for Zurich Cantonal Bank (ZKB) as a “Member of Senior Management” in Zurich, where he was in charge of the private banking business for Latin America. In August 2008, he decided to join Invest-Partners Wealth Management Ltd. as an independent Senior Partner. Ernesto Zulliger is a graduate of the Swiss Banking School. He is married and has three daughters.
