Nicholas Rose
A native Englishman, he graduated from Oxford University in 1981 with a degree in Modern Languages before embarking on a career in banking.
The early part of his professional life was spent in London, including positions as Head of Fixed Income for a securities firm and Investment Manager for a substantial multicurrency bond portfolio. He later joined an English bank to set up and manage an Offshore Private Banking offering targeted at the Japanese market before being posted to their Zurich branch to take care of international private clients.
He has had close ties to Japan for over 20 years, having both lived and
worked in the country. With considerable experience of looking after
Japanese private investors, he is almost alone in Switzerland in being able
to respond to the particular needs of this market.
Aside from Japanese and English he speaks German, French and Italian and is very happy to advise clients in any of these languages. He now lives in Zurich.
